About Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness is a meditative practice through which individuals can learn how to live in the present moment. This workshop is based on Jon Kabat Zinn’s Mindfulness for Beginners and has extensive accredited research through the University of Massachusetts Medical School. In this six week program, participants will earn how to respond, rather than react, to life’s challenges, come to terms with things as they are, and engage in self-compassion during times of suffering.
