The 2-1-1 bilingual helpline is also available 24/7 for more information. Additionally, many local pharmacies are also providing pre-scheduled flu shots.
The drive-through flu shot clinics will offer the regular flu vaccine to anyone 6 months of age, or older. Limited supplies of high dose flu shot are available through your physician’s office, or at some local pharmacies, for those who are 65 and older with certain chronic health conditions.
The flu shot will not protect against COVID-19, but it will help reduce your risk of getting the flu and COVID-19 at the same time. Having both illnesses at the same time can put individuals at a higher risk for severe illness.
